Vinyasa means a gradual progression or a step-by-stepapproach that systematically and appropriately takes a student from one point and safely lands them at the next point. It is sometimes described as the "breathing system," or the union of breath and movement that make up the steps. in our Vinyasa class you will "flow" from one pose to the next while focusing on the breath. Vinyasa is an all levels class which incorporates arm balances and inversions. Each class will incorporate different poses and sequences, including the traditional "Vinyasa Flow" (Chataranga,Up dog, Down dog). If you are looking for a class where you have the option to take on some challenging modifications, this is the class for you.
Gentle Yoga (beginner):
A Gentle yoga class focuses on basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. You will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility and strength, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a slower pace.
